Amanda is an accomplished attorney and risk management executive with more than 25 years of combined legal and risk management experience. Her diverse background encompasses a broad range of specialties, including medical professional liability, insurance matters, contract negotiation, litigation management, general legal advising, trainings, public speaking, and administrative proceedings. Amanda brings to her mediation practice a practical and balanced perspective developed through decades of evaluating, managing, and resolving complex disputes. Her experience provides a deep understanding of litigation strategy, risk assessment, claims valuation, and the legal, financial, and business considerations that influence successful outcomes.

For 16 years, Amanda served the University of Oklahoma in progressively responsible leadership roles, first as in-house counsel and ultimately serving as Chief Risk Officer for the university system. Most recently, she served as Vice President of Risk Management for Oklahoma’s largest not-for-profit health care system, where she managed the organization’s substantial insurance portfolio and oversaw claims identification, claims and litigation management, and risk mitigation strategies.

Amanda’s diverse background and experience working with a wide range of personalities equips her to guide parties to resolution of challenging disputes with professionalism.
