Michael L. Carr is an associate with Collins, Zorn & Wagner, P.C. He joined the firm in 2017. Mike has been a litigator in private practice since 1999. He has achieved an “AV Preeminent” rating from Martindale Hubbell and was previously named by both Tulsa People and Oklahoma Magazine as one of the Top Rated Lawyers in Oklahoma. Also, in 2016, Mike was elected by his peers to the list of Oklahoma Super Lawyers©.
Mike is a member of the Tulsa County, Oklahoma and Dallas Bar Associations, as well as the Defense Research Institute (DRI). Mike has published articles in national and local publication covering topics involving civil wiretapping actions in Federal Court, drug testing under Oklahoma State Law and liability for workplace accidents. Mike also frequently lectures to multiple groups of lawyers and business managers regarding a wide variety of employment law, litigation and medical malpractice issues. Mike’s practice at this time focuses on defending governmental entities, private employers and law enforcement agencies in state and federal litigation of civil rights, employment and medical malpractice litigation. With almost two decades of experience in litigation, Mike has tried many jury trials and is a graduate of the International Association of Defense Counsel’s Trial Academy at Stanford University in 2006. He has further presented oral arguments in many appellate matters in both the Oklahoma Supreme Court and in the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals in Denver, Colorado.
