Tammy Ewing

Managing Member - Ewing Law Office, PLLC

Tammy Ewing is the Managing Member of Ewing Law Office, PLLC.  She grew up in Muskogee, Oklahoma, and attended college at the University of Tulsa.  She attended law school at the University of Illinois and then practiced law in Colorado for 28 years.  Over those 28 years, she was a transactional attorney, civil litigator, prosecutor, municipal court judge and county court judge.  As a county court judge, she was assigned primarily to a civil docket.  Through her varied work experiences and the hundreds of jury and court trials over which she presided as judge, she developed a familiarity with, if not expertise in, many different areas of the law, court procedures, claims and defenses.

Ms. Ewing moved back home to Oklahoma in 2017 to be near family.  Since returning to Oklahoma, she has specialized in litigation, local government, land use and construction law.  She served as City Attorney for the City of Bixby, Oklahoma, and Assistant City Attorney for the City of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.  In her position with the City of Broken Arrow, she represented the Planning Commission, the Board of Adjustment, and the Planning & Zoning, Community Development, Engineering & Construction, and Streets & Stormwater departments.  In that capacity, she developed expertise in the areas of land use, construction and governmental contracting.

Over the years, she has consistently contributed to the improvement of the legal system by teaching and participating in various law-related committees.  She has taught and trained judges, attorneys, mediators, law enforcement officers, court personnel, city officials and employees, and others.   She has also consistently been involved with a variety of non-law-related, non-profit entities and communities.  All of these activities have blessed and challenged her, and made her a better attorney and person.
